I think I might have to sign up for that class! I think I'm writing a steampunk once I finish with my space cowboys book. If I can pull it off. Suzanne Lazear is so cool! She was on a steampunk panel at nationals (the room was packed) and rocked socks, er, mechanical socks.
Actually the other day on Twitter, I mentioned to her how excited I was for your book. ...Man, I sound like a creeper. I don't normally do that. Go around saying 'I'm so excited about this random book by this person I don't even know!' I promise I'm completely normal... ish. As normal as any writer can be? I think it's just that the steampunk world for enthusiasts is still so small that we tend to cross online paths.

Glad you liked the blurb! I thought whoever wrote it was a genius and I’d send them a batch of cookies if I knew who they were. ^_^
I have not read anything by Suzanne Lazear, but I will now! Pouting that I have to wait until 2012 for her YA steampunk. Totally, absolutely looking forward to that. What is it that you said about being excited about books that aren’t published yet, by people that you don’t know? ;)
Yes, you should sign up for the class. I think it would be great fun.
